Here Are Just Some of the Ways You Can Help
NEW ARRIVALS

We are always looking for foster homes. If you're able to provide a loving home for a pet until a permanent home is found, we pay for all food and medical bills. Fostering helps dogs and cats become socialized so they are ready for successful rehoming. Foster parents and volunteers place flyers at local business and sometimes bring pets to PETCO and educate the public about NCHS services.

Sponsoring an animal is another great way to help. Sponsoring an animal will help with vet bills and food until a forever home is found.

Are you able to bring a dog to senior houses and nursing homes? This is a great way to participate in our Senior Program.

NCHS has been doing the vehicle donation program since 2000. We take any vehicle that is no longer wanted. Proceeds from this program help homeless animals get vet care, food and shelter. We take cars, trucks, rv's ,motorcycles and some boats. A letter is given for a tax deduction. If over $500.00 is received for a vehicle whether junked or sold, a 1098© form is given for tax purposes.

NCHS is looking for a donated truck, van/station wagon or SUV that they can put on the road to move food, litter and supplies to the shelters. NCHS is also looking for a piece of property for a sanctuary. Ideally we would like a house to be on the property so we can have the for cats, and a caretaker would live on-site to take care of the cats.

Can you make a donation? Use the Donor Town Square link at the top of the screen, or you can make a mobile donation here. Even a small amount will help!
